The Lodge

Located near the small village of Gunjur you will find the peaceful paradise of The Gunjur Project Lodge. The size of this lodge is what makes it so unique and person centred. There is never any hustle and bustle at Gunjur Project Lodge, only peace and tranquillity. No noises from traffic but the singing of the birds, the distant waves of the Atlantic and the breeze through the leaves. This is a great place to escape from your everyday life and completely unwind. The beach is only few minutes walking.

If you are looking for a holiday with busy resorts, traffic, disco music, nightclubs, retail shops, television etc then you have to go elsewhere. However if you want peaceful days around the pool, relaxation on deserted beaches, lush nature, bird watching, amazing sunsets, fishing and an experience of what the Gambia is really is about then you found the right place.



If you want to do nothing al all then just relax in our garden in a shady spot or make yourself comfortable on a sunbed or swing in a hammock. Our staff will ensure that you get your food and drinks right where you want them. For ultimate relaxation: why not have a massage?

Spend time with our friends at 'no hassle' Kaira Kunda Beach Bar, just a short walk from the lodge, where you can enjoy lazy beach days, BBQ's, drumming and evening camp fires. Or just chill out on a beach bed and let the day pass you by with the sound of the Atlantic Ocean.
