Four week summer scheme from 19th July 2010 - 15th August 2010

This is a 4-week volunteer opportunity working in Kajabang nursery delivering a summer scheme programme for the children, of all ages, that live in Kajabang village. The programme will depend on the strengths of our volunteers but we will include revision sessions to support the students to maximise their potential and get better results at school. We expect the scheme to include English language tuition, arts & crafts, health, music & sport.

Kajabang nursery school was built by the community. They wanted to give their children more educational oppurtunities - this summer scheme will build on this initiative. The summer scheme will be available for all. We will devise a time table to ensure all children have the oppurtunity to participate.

Volunteers will be expected to raise project money minimum of £150 / euro 165 - this will be used for resources for the summer scheme. Along with this your only other payment will be for your accomodation at Gunjur project & food costs of which a package deal is available.
